As the Council will be moving out of the Guildhall buildings and in to the new West Offices a new purpose needs to be found for the Guildhall buildings. I think this new purpose should maximise York's assets:
1. History
2. Tourists

Another idea to come out of the York report: an annual ‘Slow-down Day’ (perhaps as part of the over-50s festival) with quiet and unhurried activities, and peaceful places for reflection and social contact.Any thoughts?
